The Fine Print.

Overview

These terms govern the working relationship between you (the client) and Kellen Bojic, operating as Stature by Kels, a sole proprietorship based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

By engaging my services — whether through a formal agreement, email confirmation, or invoice payment — you're agreeing to these terms. If anything here is unclear, just ask before we start.

Services

I provide custom web design, web development, and digital automation services for small and local businesses. The specific scope of work for your project will be confirmed in writing before any work begins — either through a proposal, a scoped email, or a signed agreement.

I reserve the right to decline any project that isn't a good fit, without explanation.

Payment Terms

For project-based work, a 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before the site goes live or files are delivered.

Monthly retainer fees (hosting, maintenance, or ongoing systems) are billed at the start of each month. Invoices are due within 7 days of receipt.

Late payments may result in work being paused. Accounts more than 30 days overdue may be subject to a late fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.

All pricing is in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Project Ownership

Upon receipt of final payment, you own the completed work — the website code, design files, and any custom assets created specifically for your project.

Until final payment is received, all work remains the intellectual property of Stature by Kels and may not be used, published, or transferred.

I retain the right to display completed work in my portfolio and use it for promotional purposes, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

Any third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins, or software licenses) used in your project may be subject to their own licensing terms. I'll flag these when relevant.

Your Responsibilities

A project can only move as fast as both parties move. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing your logo, photos, content, and business information in a timely manner
• Reviewing and providing feedback within agreed-upon timeframes
• Making sure you have the rights to any materials you provide (photos, text, trademarks)
• Paying invoices on time

If a project stalls for more than 30 days due to inaction on your end, I reserve the right to archive the project and re-scope it before restarting — or to apply a restart fee.

Revisions

Most packages include a defined number of revision rounds — this will be stated in your project scope. Revisions mean adjustments to the agreed design; they don't mean starting over or changing the scope of the project.

Requests that go beyond the agreed scope will be quoted and invoiced separately. I'll always let you know before doing out-of-scope work so there are no surprises.

Cancellation

Either party may end the working relationship at any time with written notice.

If you cancel a project after work has begun, you're responsible for payment for all work completed up to that point. The deposit is non-refundable.

If I need to cancel or withdraw from a project, I'll give you as much notice as possible and refund any portion of the deposit that hasn't been earned based on work completed.

Monthly services (hosting, retainer) can be cancelled with 30 days written notice. No cancellation fees apply for monthly plans.

Limitation of Liability

I do great work and I stand behind it. But I can't be held responsible for:

• Losses caused by third-party platforms (GoHighLevel, hosting providers, domain registrars, etc.)
• Downtime, data loss, or security incidents outside of my direct control
• Business outcomes — I can build you a great site, but I can't guarantee specific results like revenue, leads, or rankings
• Content you provide that infringes on someone else's copyright or intellectual property

My total liability in any dispute is limited to the amount you paid me for the specific project or service in question.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Saskatchewan.

That said, I'd always rather work something out directly before it gets to that point. If there's ever an issue, email me first — most things can be resolved with a conversation.
